Online Math Tutoring

Grade 8 and below: $20/hour

Grade 9 to 12: $25/hour

The student can expect clarification of lessons, step-by-step explanations, and help doing homework and revision.
Lower rates are possible for clients who book a minimum number of hours per week.
How does it work?
Online tutoring is likely something you've never tried before. I have been tutoring through Google Hangouts (a free platform that only requires a gmail account). This service allows audio and video calls, chatting and sending photos, and screen-sharing. I have a camera and whiteboard set up in my home to allow the student to see what I'm writing. I don't expect the student to have the same materials.
Generally, the student should have access to both a cell phone and a computer/laptop. The cell phone allows the student to quickly send me pictures of the textbook and their work, while calling from the computer so they can easily see the video call. Both devices are not necessary, but in my experience it is the smoothest configuration.
